Thanks for asking for clarification. I didn't actually read it as the loaded meaning but I did wonder how others would perceive it because it is a loaded word in this field, interestingly however, the first definition in the Merriam Webster dictionary online is simply:

1 a: designed or intended to teach b: intended to convey instruction and information as well as pleasure and entertainment

2 : making
 ]moral observations

I think that we do need tend to make our own meaning for words, when we over use them. I never would have dreamed that the word didactic could be used to intending to convey pleasure or entertainment but there it is. ;)

I learned something new today.

My husband loves to use words that I've never heard before so I'm always interested in keeping up with multiple definitions to stay ahead at home. :)
