Thank you, Stacy, for your thoughtful comments about going beyond the bookstore and refunding our libraries. I hope that publishers, advocacy groups and others contribute to such an essential movement.
To cap off our Feb. diversity discussions, following is a link to a compte rendu of Saturday's NYPL panel about diversity and the state of the children's book, moderated by NYPL's Betsy Bird and featuring Connie Hsu of Little, Brown; and authors Zetta Elliott and Sophia Quintero.
Stacy, it was nice to meet you there, albeit briefly.
