conversation with Senior Book Review Editor Wilda Williams of Library Jour nal. Kasbarian and Williams will discuss the challenges and benefits of produci ng material in this field, diversity in children’s books, and insight s from their work inside publishing. In addition to writing Armenian-themed books for children, Kasbarian has worked as an in-house publicist for major publishing companies and is on extended leave from her own concern, Progre ssive Book Publicity. An editor and book reviewer for nearly 25 years, Williams also writes her own blog, WildaBookBeast. Kasbarian's “The Greedy Spar row: An Armenian Tale” was a 2012 Honor Book in the Storytelling World Awa rds; “ Armenia: A Rugged Land, an Enduring People” was named a 1998 Bank Street Best Books of the Year selection.
