"Alexi Natchev: Hand-Colored Block Prints from The Elijah Door" is a one-man exhibit of picture book illustrations currently at the Skirball Museum, Hebrew Union College, Cincinnati, OH. Natchev will be at the Skirball explaining and demonstrating his wood-block techniques on March 31, 2:00 to 4:00. Free, family-friendly (children welcome) and open to the public. THE ELIJAH DOOR: a Passover Tale, written by Linda Leopold Strauss and illustrated by Natchev (Holiday House, 2012), is a 2013 Sydney Taylor Award Honor Book in the Younger Readers Category.
