Just catching up on tweets coming out of the ABA Wi8 (Winter Institute) in Kansas City today...

Publishers Weekly tweeted this from Sherman Alexie: "Publishing is scared, because publishing is white."

I'd like to know more context for that comment. Scared of what, I wonder?

And tweeter Cory Silverberg said "Grateful to _at_Sherman_Alexie for speaking to white supremacy in a room full of mostly white liberals."

Was anyone on the CCBC-Net listserv there?
