We celebrated 75 years of the Caldecott Medal with our first Mock Caldecott open to the public. We've done them for staff in the past, but this year we included the public, who were able to vote in any of our 6 libraries, or online. Here are the results:
Mock Caldecott Medal: This Is Not My Hat, written and illustrated by Jon K lassen Mock Caldecott Honor: Z Is for Moose, written by Kelly Bingham and illustr ated by Paul O. Zelinsky And Then It's Spring, wri tten by Julie Fogliano and illustrated by Erin E. Stead
If you would like to see our slate of candidates, please go to www.deschute slibrary.org/celebrate75 .
