My Wish List: More Books (especially Series) for Beginning Readers with Protagonists of Color

Just finished a classroom section on traditional format beginning readers (like Fly Guy, Henry & Mudge, Cowgirl Kate & Cocoa), and the only two books in the room with protagonists of color were _Wagon Wheels_ and _Ling & Ting: Not Exactly the Same_. How I wish more were available! (And, for that matter, a few with characters in urban settings and apartments.)
