Each year, The Brown Bookshelf celebrates African-American children's book authors and illustrators in our flagship campaign, 28 Days Later. It's a Bl ack History Month celebration of picture books, middle grade and young adul t novels by children's book creators of color. So far, we have profiled 140 stand outs.
