K.T. You are bringing back more delight about Going Bovine for me. When I was in college D.Q. was a special treat as Man of La Mancha was maki ng the rounds of the musical theaters then. I had totally forgotten how ta ken I was with that tale then. I suppose GB helped me enjoy my youth in a weird way because of that.
I really enjoy literature that makes me think about the real world, the wor ld of the mind, and people's perceptions of reality. Perhaps that is why I am an educator -- we deal with all three!
