Marc, As K.T. points out, American Born Chinese did win the Printz, but it didn't win the National Book Award. It was a finalist, but Octavia n Nothing won that year. =) I agree though... it's a wonderful book, and I was delighted to see it get such great recognition.

And now back to the original question. I recall that American Born Chinese won NBA, was it also Prin tz? It is an all time favorite of mine -- brilliant, engaging, innovative, engaging, important all in one.
