The Children's Section of the American Folklore Society is currently accepting nominations for the Aesop Prize and Aesop Accolades. The Aesop committee accepts for consideration, books for children and young adults with folklore as the work's central content. Both fiction and non-fiction, published in 2011 or 2012 are eligible. For prize review criteria please see our webpage: http://www.afsnet.org/?page®sop. Submissions are due by August 15th. Questions may be directed to me at aesop.prize_at_gmail.com.
