Re: Back in print. Publishers are starting to mine their backlists and reissuing op books, especially for the e-book market. Revised editions of my books from the "Imagine Living Here" series, This Place Is Cold (about Alaska) and This Place Is Wet (about the Amazon rain forest) will be reissued by Walker early next year. Authors have been getting rights reversions wherever possible and my group of nonfiction authors, iNK Think Tank, will soon be publishing under the name iNK Books & Media, dipping our toe into publishing through Apple's iTunes store. Our books will only be available initally for the iPad but we authors are already experimenting with the mixed media opportunities the electronic media offers. Becoming our own publisher also give us the freedom to experiment with books that more traditional publishers didn't want to take a chance on. We are betting that schools that have classroom sets of iPads are looking for high-quality material. Soooo, stay tuned.
