I learned about the wonderful Bagthorpes from the late Millicent Lenz, who taught youth literature at SUNY Albany's MLS program. Her love for and scholary k nowledge of the Bagthorpes were all it took to turn me into a huge fan.

Here, here, on the Bagthropes. I did find the first two books on Audible, but haven't been able to find them in their original form.
