Definitely something by Terry Pratchett perhaps, Wee Free Men and Tony Di Terlizzi, I really like, The Search For WondLa.

Will be talking fantasy to a Children's Lit. class next week and would love to share a list with them of this group's ideas of great titles for studen ts up to grade 8. Classic or new, all ideas would be great.
