Sadly, I have learned today of the death of Jean Craighead George on May 15, 2012. Since I have not seen reference to it on ccbc-net I decided to post it. She was a great lady, scholar, storyteller, writer and friend who left a tremendous legacy for many generations. There was a tribute to her in the New York Times May 17th.
