Let's turn out thoughts to the CCBC-Net topic for the second part of May: Family Dynamics.

Sometimes a book for children or teens perfectly captures a realistic slice of family life, whether it’s a picture book that showcases authentic exchanges between babies, toddlers or preschoolers and their grown-ups, or a novel illuminating the give and take (and sometimes love/ hate) dynamics among siblings. Perhaps it’s a story that acknowledges how true feelings can be revealed in small moments of family life. During the second part of May, we’ll talk family dynamics on CCBC-Net—what books do you think best convey realities of relationships in families?
