"Bosom Friends" is all very well and good but Mrs. Rachel Lynd would never approve. The phrase I had in mind "Kindred Spirits" which is much deeper about the friendship of Anne and Diana. (In fact, it was so deeply buried in my brain that it took much research into the T-shirt drawer to remember it.)
