For littler kids, I appreciate "Ladybug Girl and Bumblebee Boy" and "Ladybu g Girl and the Bug Squad" by David Soman and Jacky Davis. They're both abou t negotiating and compromising when spending time with friends. They might come across as a bit didactic to adults, but kids I know seem to like the s eries.
