I can't believe I forgot this one: Beauty Queens, by Libba Bray, on audio. (The book is great, the audio is fantastic.) This audio is laugh-out-loud, pee-your-pants funny, a brilliantly sarcastic take on beauty and a whole lot more. Libba Bray herself narrates, and does an outstanding job. If you listen to only one audio this year, let it be Beauty Queens!
