You does one define graphic novels? How are library media specialists deal ing with shelving them? School libraries in my district house most of them in 741.5, but some are in the subject area i.e. Pearl Harbor. I see graph ic novels as one way to motivate non-reluctant readers to move through the none-fiction sections of the library. Recently, I'm seeing graphic novels cataloged in fiction. Thoughts on a subject identification label to place on graphic novels that way it won't matter where they're housed?
Thanks, Jeff
