May I remind people that today marks the date of JFK's assassination and that the question before the house is somewhat of a memorial.
I recall editing a ms. which began with the death of the biographee. I continue believe that her/his death became more important than his/her life. By the same token, knowing this in advance might save the reader the disappointment that K.T.'s nephew felt. Then again, I am relieved that Jack was secure enough to cry. We would all be healthier as adults if we could cry.
