What do Mo William's Pigeon, Melanie Watt's Chester, Nick Bu's Bad Kitty, a nd David Shannon's David books all have in common? Readers of all ages seem to love these books s portraying characters with negative behaviors. I wa s reading Interrupting Chicken to a class today and noticed the book had a similar response. This has motivated me to create a bibliography of simila r books, so please forward any titles that come to mind. Many school media specialists are split between schools and one of the challenges I see is m arketing books to digital learners. When I read any of the books mentioned above they fly off the shelves for a long time.
