2nd Annual Sheboygan Children's Book Festival October 14-16, 2011 - Sheboygan WI
This is a free, public children's book festival featuring award-winning authors and illustrators of books for children and teens. Memory is the theme for this year's festival and these acclaimed children's book creators will explore, discuss, and show how memories influence their books and thei r craft: -Jerry Pinkney -M.T. Anderson -Candace Fleming -Henry Cole -Tom Lichtenheld -Liz Garton Scanlon -Catherine Gilbert Murdock -Francisco X. Mora -Stacey Williams-Ng The Sheboygan Children's Book Festival takes place at Mead Public Library, the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, and Bookworm Gardens. Workshops, readings, art-making studio sessions with illustrators, and book sales and signings are all part of this free event for kids, teens, families, and boo k lovers of all ages.
