I thought I'd suggest a book that came out just this year: RIVAL (HarperCol lins) from debut author, Sara Bennett Wealer. The book is fun and well- wr itten, and is about two high school girls who were once best friends 2C n ow rivaling for a prestigious spot in an operatic competition. In terms of pairings, it would appeal most to Rachel Berry and Quinn Fabray, a s th e book deals with a rivalry between two talented girls who want both the gu y and the glory of winning the singing competition.
