"Words between Friends: An Author Event to Benefit the Wisconsin Book Festival" will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 7:00-8:30pm, in the Grand Hall _at_ 333 W. Main Street in Madison, Wisconsin.
Authors Jane Hamilton and Kevin Henkes will give readings, and Isthmus editor Dean Robbins will facilitate their conversation and a Q&A. Dean is the author of several forthcoming picture books. The three authors are personal friends, and so this will be a unique opportunity for exchanges not usually part of a typical author event. For admission, RSVP with a donation to the Wisconsin Book Festival (suggested minimum: $25.00). It's also possible to show up that evening and make a donation at the door. Regardless of where you live, check out the details on the Wisconsin Book Festival website beginning next week
http://www.wisconsinbookfestival.org because all are welc ome to make a donation to the wonderful Wisconsin Book Festival. If you're coming to this Author Event, you'll be happy to know that free parking is across the street in the ramp one enters from Washington Place; just take a ticket and get it stamped after the event. Everyone is welcome to spread this news and encourage others to plan on being there. The Wisconsin Book Festival Stewards are the hosts of this opportunity.
