My students are reading most if not all the series that have been mentioned . I would add the following: The Sisters Grimm Judy Blume's Fudge books The 39 Clues and in the graphic novels, Green Dragon has a strong following for only 3 b ooks!

Personally, I LOVED Trixie Belden. Being an only child, I wanted to be a B .O.G. and have those brothers!!

I also enjoyed The Great Brain, Anastasia Krupnick, and Soup series as I wa s becoming a school librarian. It's been hard to not be able to get childr en interested in them. I have found some of the same reluctance in Beverly Cleary's titles and have reduced multiple copies of many of these due to a lack of shelf space and our circulation records. The Babysitters Club and Time Warp Trio in graphic novel format have found new, interested readers.
