Oh my Gosh I remember the Happy Hollisters, I liked them very much and I had the whole set from the grandmother but I remember my mother saying how stupid they were to be so happy all the time. lol I remember thinking, why is it bad to be Happy all the time? ha!
I recently acquired the bobbsey twins and am almost reluctant to read them again, wondering if they will be as fun as an adult. I also loved Trixie Belden in my youth.
