Lisa, and everyone, I was so glad to see Cherry Ames on your list, I loved her adventures! I also remember a short lived series, the Three Investigators, my brother and I devoured those. I am switching levels this year, to high school, and was looking over the stats from that school to see the trends. I noticed (besides "Twilight series") were Wolves of Mercy Falls series by Maggie Stiefvater, Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series by Michael Scott, and the Fallen series by Lauren Kate. At my former elementary favorite series included: Junie B. (5th grade girls would reread favorites), The Princess Academy, Warrior series, and Magic Tree House. I wonder if anyone else has noticed an upsurge in series circulation?
