Hello, All:
The second annual Southeast Wisconsin Festival of Books is slated for June 17th & 18th,2011 at the beautiful campus of UW-Waukesha. It's a family-friendly, free festival that celebrates books and reading.
About 100 authors are scheduled to appear over two days. There is something for everyone, including poetry, science fiction, comics, literary fiction, and numerous writing-related programs. Lovers of children's literature will enjoy appearances by Lynda Barry, Ann Angel, Stuart Stotts, Swati Avasthi, James Klise, Colleen Houck, and others who write and illustrate for children/young adults. Additionally, children's librarians from the area are offering storytimes throughout the day for young children.
The festival schedule will be posted by the end of next week on the website. In the meantime, you can find additional information there at www.sewibookfest.com
