Hi everyone,
Tis the season, so I thought I'd mention my collection of over sixty children's author prom photos in case anyone taught or worked with teens...or just enjoyed a good giggle. I compiled a "Prom Court Directory" with links to each of the authors' shots along with a few words about their experience at the big dance. Or not, in some cases.
I thought it would be fun to show kids that despite our tragic fashion choices and 80's big hair, we all survived high school and lived to tell the tale (quite literally for some YA authors). I had no idea how many children's authors would jump at the chance to share their 17yo selves. *Art Slade's 'man perm' was a particular treat.
