3rd time lucky! You might just have to guess what Ginny said...
I had to resend this because I quoted more then five lines of Ginny's post. I appreciate that a limit is set—I hate those posts that duplicate an ent ire thread—but five lines seems a very small amount! Anyway, here goes—fing ers crossed!

The Rabbits is not without controversy here in Australia. While clearly intended to be a fable about colonialisation and its impact on indigenous peoples, others have read it as being troublingly ambiguous and potentially anti-immigration. I suppose it's fair to say it's a "classic", but one that many people feel quite conflicted about. (Which is not to take away from Shaun's artistry, just to acknowledge that a complex text such as this can and does offer multiple readings, not all of them benign.)
