Two more fabulous debut authors to watch:
Kimberly Marcus - Exposed (A teen photographer has a best friend who's a d ancer. At a sleep over, the girls quarrel, move to separate rooms, and the photographer's brother ends up raping the best friend. All relationships are devastated as the characters struggle with the issue of rape versus con sensual sex, who can be believed, and who should be protected. Powerful no vel in verse.)
Lauren DeStefano - Wither (First in planned trilogy about a dystopian worl d where young men die by 25 and young women by 20. In an effort to maintai n the population and find a cure for the virus infecting young people, teen girls are abducted and sold as captive "brides" to wealthy and powerful yo ung men.)
The teens in my library are loving both these books by debut authors!! Def initely authors to watch!
