I agree with Carling--I had so much fun reading "The Cardturner" by Louis S achar. It really surprised me how a book about bridge could make me want t o stay up all night to finish it! I also just finished "A Long Walk To Wat er" by Linda Sue Park and felt it was a great story about a Lost Boy of Sud an told in a way that kids could understand.
