Regarding this comment : "Picture book sales are way down at B&N, they said, but not so much at Amaz on."

My personal children's book buying has moved to Amazon from my local stores because the big chains aren't carrying the items I know are best for chil dren. When my grandniece and grandson were on their way, I wanted some of Hoban's Black and White board books -- Could I find them anywhere? Only on Amazon !! Additionally, I ordered some board baby face books and a couple of othe r new board books I had just seen at ALA!! I had already looked at B&N and Borders in Madison and neither had what I was seeking!!

I've since ordered another set of the same board books as baby gifts for ot hers!!
