List Protocol: Delete Prior Message When Posting

Dear CCBC-Net Members,
We want to remind you to please delete the prior message when you reply to a CCBC-Net post. If you want to reference something specific in your response, please quote from a prior post rather than including the whole message.
When we have a rich,lively, prolific discussion like the one we're in the midst of, Digest members are faced with a single message that features lots of duplication. We have set the list so that no more than 5 lines of a prior message repeats as long as the sender's e-mail in front of each line of the original message. sign in a prior message when they reply.
We know it's hard to remember to delete, but if everyone can make an effort we--and Digest subscribers--will thank you!
