We invite you to share any children's and young adult-literature related announcements on CCBC-Net in the next few days.

Our June discussion on Graphic Novels was quiet overall--between the school year ending, summer library reading programs starting, and national conference s like the American Library Association annual meeting, we know many CCBC-Net members were and are busy in many ways.

We hope you'll find time to join in on our discussion topics for July:

**First Two Weeks: Mysterious Reading: Summer is the perfect time to crack a good mystery. During the first part of July on CCBC-Net, we’ll talk about mysteries for children and teens—what are your personal favorites? What books seem to have a mysterious hold over readers young and old?

**

**Second Two Weeks: Genre-Jumping: What titles do you suggest or strategies do you use for kids who love a certain author or certain kind of book, but who are reluctant to try something new? During the second half of July, we invite you to share stories and ideas for broadening the palette of readers who are resistant to change. What books are great for helping kids cross the gap between what is comfortable and familiar and a new reading experience?
