In my school library, I have moved most of the graphic novels onto the fict ion section. A few are in picture books (if they are age appropriate and s ized largely) and non-fiction titles are in their appropriate subject Dewey section. There is no distinction now between GNs and other print titles.
I have had to change the cataloging on these as well as labels since most o f them come cataloged for the 700s section but it is worth it!
