I second what Nancy said about Two Lives Publishing. They do have some good titles that show children with parents of the same sex as a reality that needs no explanation. I like Felicia's Favorite Story (by Leslea Newman, illus. by Adriana Romo), about a Guatemalan girl adopted by two moms in the US (one of the moms is originally from Puerto Rico), and The Different Dragon, by Jennifer Bryan and illus. by Danamarie Hosler, a lovely bedtime story featuring a boy, his cat and his two moms.
Here are a few other books (by other publishers) I've enjoyed:
-And Baby Makes 4, by Judith Benjamin with photos by Judith Freeman (Motek Press, 2009), about a young girl with two moms who needs to come to terms with the idea and reality of having a baby brother.
-Mom and Mum Are Getting Married! by Ken Setterington, illus. by Alice Priestley (Second Story Press, 2004), where the main conflict is whether the young girl in the story will get to be a flower girl and whether she and her brother will be allowed to carry the wedding rings.
-The Generous Jefferson Bartleby Jones (out-of-print, I think), by Forman Brown and illus. by Leslie Trawin (Alison Books, 1991), where a young boy with two dads generously "loans out" his dads sometimes to two of his friends whose fathers don't seem to have much time to spend with them.
The American Library Association Rainbow Project's annual list of LGBT-inclusive books for children and young adults, is also a good reference: http://www.ala.org/ala/mgrps/rts/glbtrt/rainbow/index.cfm
