Two Lives Publishing is devoted to publishing books for kids with gay and lesbian parents. They have several picture books, a book about Harvey Milk, and a slowly growing mystery series, the Candlestone Inn series, for 8-12. (Full disclosure: I'm the series author. I probably shouldn't be telling you about Two Lives since I do have a connection with them, but it would be wonderful if more people were aware of them.) They're a very small press, often struggling, and very dedicated. (Their website is www.twolives.com) They also distribute similar books from other publishers, so are a good source of information about such books.

Um--since I've already pluggged one of my publishers, I guess I'll take the plunge and also mention that I also have a two moms picture book (technically perhaps picture story book), MOLLY'S FAMILY, illustrated by Sharon Wooding, published by FSG in 2004?
