librarian appreciation day

A million huzzahs and hoorays to librarians round the world. I fondly remember the librarians at the Rappahanock Regional Library in Fredericksburg, Va., who never once blanched whenever me and my six siblings raced into the library with a wicker laundry basket of books to return every two weeks. And hurrah for parents who regularly bring their kids to the library (even if such ventures did earn my mom the sobriquet "Basket Lady").
