Dear CCBC-Net Members,
Because of the ongoing frustration for Digest subscribers having to deal with long posts in which messages are repeated--because many of us forget to delete the prior post when replying to a message--we are making a setting change to CCBC-Net.
From now on, the number of lines from a prior post that can be included in a new post will be 5.
What does this mean? It means if you forget to delete a prior post that is longer than five lines in your reply, your message will be bounced back to you with an explanation. You will simply need to delete the old post and resend your message.
("greater than") symbol in front of each line of text.
If you want to quote from a prior post, and the material you want to
symbol in front of the lines of quoted text.
Thanks for your understanding.
