I will say that kids now are not only busier, but have more books, and more access to books, than I did as a kid.В I reread a lot, but that was i n part because often there wasn't an enticing new book around to tempt me. В My own kids do reread, but rarely, and when they do it's usually a y ear or so after the first reading of a book they remember as phenomenal.В В As my older daughter explained to me, by then you forgetВ some of it and you get to enjoy some of the surprises all over again.В В I do think WYRM might be considered "phenomenal" by some kids--I certain ly thought it was--but they may need some time before they are willing to В read it again.В
