I love seeing these lists, and always try to locate and read the books on them if I have time - and of course I like to see how many of the titles are owned at my branch library and our library system. I was having trouble finding one of the titles listed below: the title is Where the Mountain Meets the Moon by Grace Lin.

I applaud your success getting students involved in this discussion; hearing the opinions of children on children's literature is invaluable.
