e-books: not mac-friendly in Mpls

Our library system, Hennepin County, has free, downloadable audiobooks that can be checked out via one's home computer.... BUT NOT ON A MAC. It really bugs me. Especially since the software company does offer a mac version of the software - but the library only has the PC version. I've asked them to add the Mac version but budgetary constraints rule.

My kids, 12 and 16, listen to more books than read. We get most of our books through Audible because the library doesn't always have what they want, and they like using their iPods - you don't have to change CDs and there is nothing to get scratched or lost. That's why I'm hoping our library system will acquire the Mac software sometime soon.
