Interesting, Lisa and others -- but is this buzz about 39 Clues for the books, or the multimedia platform? Do you see kids using the web and technology applications that were branded with this -- or is the enthusiasm simply for the book?
As I interpret KT's comments at the beginning of this conversation, before 39 Clues came out (Book 1 -- Rick Riorden's), the buzz was about all the different platforms. Maybe those helped market and get this series off the ground -- but are the kids using and still thinking of these books as a multi-platform series, or is it the book and the the Web/tech component mostly for pre-book buzz? Or somewhere in the middle?
Them's my thoughts as the sun is beautifully setting outside my office window. What a brilliant orange. Best -- Nick
