Hello, fellow shut-ins seated at that destroyer of time--the computer:
Alas, more than once I have found an error--or two, or.... in a book. I wrote the the publisher &/or editor to suggest it/they be corrected in a subsequent edition. MEANWHILE, what should we do if there is no new edition?
Write in the book?
Cry and have a tantrum?
One of my rules of thumb: If I find a factual error (in my field of expertise), it makes me wonder about the possibility of mistakes in fields with which I am ignorant--or less knowledgeable.
Of course, I am NEVER wrong--2% of the time.
