Also thought this might be pertinent to the discussion ... I always always stated to my students that in their responses to books read they could NOT use the following:
BEWARE OF THE FOLLOWING WORDS!!! cute beautiful delightful quaint nice wonderful fun favorite neat lovely little interesting darling exciting different terrible boring dull funny precious
Haven't thought about that part of my teaching in a while... but did want to share the list!
