Thanks to the many of you who have signed the petition to keep "Reading Rainbow" on the air. The "School Library Journal" website carries an article about the efforts so far; please see http://www.schoollibraryjournal.com/article/CA6687449.html

Will any professional associations speak out on this? Has any other program promoted and celebrated libraries and reading the way "Reading Rainbow" has?
