I didn't see "Dark" but it couldn't have been a worse interpretation than Sci-Fi's chop job on "Earthsea". Even Ursula K. LeGuin disavowed the mini-series!

I don't remember Prince Caspian particularly, but do remember enjoying Lion. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Lord of the Rings, though had quibbles with the ending of the third movie.

And while we're on fantasy chapter books, did anyone pay to see the film adaptation of The Dark is Rising by Susan Cooper? That had to be one of the worst films I've seen, and what it did to the plot of the book was unspeakable!!!
