Hi Rhonda and Kristin -- I don't currently run such a book club, but have some possible suggestions for you. First, check out information at GuysRead.com, the website started by Jon Scieszka. In fact, "Knucklehead," Scieszka's hilarious autobiography for kids, would be a fabulous book to use in a boy's book club.
Also, I attended a program at the ALSC Institute in Salt Lake City in September in which Salt Lake City library folks talked about their book clubs for boys and girls. The boys' club, for ages 7-11, is called "No Girls Allowed" and looks like a blast. The club does a combination of books and activities. The contact I have is Anne Nabaum -- anabaum at slcolibrary.org.
Finally, my predecessor in my library job ran a book club for boys several years ago. It was started at the request of some boys and their parents; the boys ranged in age from 8-12. These boys loved to read and enjoyed in-depth book discussions, and so they asked if the librarian would facilitate their discussions. Favorite books of this group included many by Rosemary Sutcliff.
Hope this is helpful, and good luck!
Cheers,
